Despite being continuously bullied as a child the Senegalese native refused to give up on her dream and moved to France at the age of 17 to forge a career in the modelling industry. Earlier this year Khoudia was selected for the The Coloured Girl Project a photo series celebrating women of all different colours and background. Unsurprisingly, the project garnered support from every corner of the globe and gained an immense amount of media attention.

Khoudia has since taken the internet by storm, using her Instagram account to reach out to women around the world and promote positivity about the way we look. It’s inspiring to see a young woman not only comfortable in her own skin but also that wants to use her experiences to help others.  In the words of Khoudia Diop – “If you’re lucky enough to be different, don’t ever change” Amen to that.
